Dr. Hanna is a board-certified vascular and general surgeon with over 28 years of experience in laparoscopic or keyhole surgery (gallbladder, hernia, GERD), vascular surgery and the management of varicose veins and proctology (piles, fissures and pilonidal cysts).
After earning his medical degree with honours from the Saint Joseph University in 1986, he completed additional specialty training in Vascular Surgery at Broussais University in Paris, France in 1991. He subsequently pursued subspecialty training in Visceral Surgery, Breast Diseases and Surgery, Proctology and Microsurgery at Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France in 1992.
He further specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery at Cochin University in Paris, France in 1993. He eventually served as a consultant in General, Thoracic, Vascular, and Laparoscopic Surgery at Clinique Jeanne D’Arc in Lyon, France.
Dr. Hanna speaks fluent English, Arabic, and French.
