Dr. Mario Cherubino is a skilled plastic surgeon who graduated from the University of Insubria in Italy with a degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also certified by the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Belgian Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Board, and the Italian Board of Medico Chirurgo.
As he was looking to build his skills in this field, Dr. Mario participated in multiple fellowship programs at many universities and specialized centers in Italy, the UK, and the USA. He gained extensive experience in cosmetic plastic surgery, surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures to help his patients restore their beauty, shape, and youthful appearance.
Dr. Mario has developed strong abilities to perform high-precision surgeries by applying innovative and modern techniques and procedures to ensure optimal results for his patients. Every year, he performs more than 150 breasts reconstructions, around 80 free flap surgeries, and more than 30 microsurgical reconstructions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mario worked at several hospitals and specialized clinics in Italy, where he dedicated his efforts to providing his patients with personalized treatments tailored to their cosmetic needs. He focused on performing head and neck surgery, skull base surgery, breast surgery, and reconstruction. In addition, he has managed several injuries and pathology, including burns and wound care, post-bariatric surgeries, and pediatric surgeries.
Dr. Mario focuses on building a friendly relationship with his patients based on trust and confidence. He focuses mainly on hand surgery, reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and microsurgery reconstruction.
Dr. Mario is keen to keep in touch with the latest techniques related to his specialty, thus he keeps attending national and international conferences and sessions. Also, he is an invited speaker and lecturer at several international conferences.
Dr. Mario is an Associate Professor at the University of Insubria and the director of the Microsurgery and Surgery of the lymphatic Research Center. He has also contributed to many research projects and has published more than fifty papers in prestigious journals.
